Though it very much needs editing, I thouroughly enjoyed this series. However, the ending was very hurtful and disappointing. There were so many clues I suppose but I was waiting for the many other clues to amount to something that never did. I did get tears in my eyes and then angry. I was so very disappointed. If only the author had continued the story and made things "right", it is fantasy.Product details

Holy wow!! What a great conclusion to this series!!! I loved getting to see how Rachel handled everything coming at her, both good and bad! And finally we get to see how it all ends!!! So bitter-sweet because the series is over but amaze because it was so page-turning good!!
So much happens in this final book of this series. Just when you think how things are going to turn out another twist and turn you don't see. This final book leaves you with many emotions from happiness and tears. The gripping finally is a heartfelt way to end the story. If you love paranormal read or listen to this series because it is unique in every way from the beginning to the end.
This is the third and final installation in the shadows series, these books need to be read in order for them to make sense to the reader. This book just like the rest of the series in that it is fast paced and intriguing. There are also a lot of twists and turns, and surprises. There is action, and in this book there is more romance than the previous two, very sweet and light in the middle of all of the darkness surrounding them. Also some very difficult truths come to light, will Rachel be able to handle everything? Without letting and spoilers slip I will say that the end was completely unexpected. I will be looking for more reads from this author. I was given a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

The final book the Shadows trilogy, “Revelations,” has arrived. Rachel is working at the labs trying to get information for the Torrents as they prepare for the final battle. The mystery of Rachel’s past will be solved. There are many losses, friends and enemies included.
As in the previous books, there will be many twists and turns. And even a few surprises. Finally, finally, FINALLY we are able to feel the connection between Leonardo and Rachel. Also, as in previous books, there is still a lot of action. The ending in this book is one most readers will not see coming. And honestly, one I didn’t like at all.
Wow! If you've read my reviews of VEIL OF SECRECY and DARK CROSSING, then you've already heard me cheering Alexander for her skills in honestly surprising me with twists and turns that I NEVER see coming. REVELATIONS is no different. From the beginning I could feel a change in the air, so to speak. I knew something huge was going to change between Leonardo, Rachel, and Justiz. My worst fear was thankfully not even remotely realized, though it came SERIOUSLY close! The end of this trilogy, that has had a gentle theme of romance laced among all the awful drama that is the SHADOW SERIES, is like nothing I could have ever imagined, heartbreaking in its selflessness, and yet perfect. Alexander's development of her characters is the only way she could have pulled off such an exquisitely pieced ending.
